Our Story...

In 1975, Larry and Louise Olson bought a brand new 1975 - 70 Massey Ferguson Backhoe.  By acquiring this new piece of equipment, they incorporated their company as Larry Olson Trenching Ltd. in May of that year.  Shortly after, they continued to expand and obtained additional machinery.

After years of running their own equipment and raising their family in Leduc County, in 2002 Larry and Louise decided to branch out and started Larco Contractors.

This new division allowed the company to grow and include not just excavating, but all aspects of carpentry and concrete for commercial and residential needs.  With the help and experience of their two sons, one being and journeyman carpenter and the other a professional operator, the company displays hard work, reliability and dedication.
